sections of timber required. Sizes vary dependant on local building

generally used.
Fixings:
Battens or counter battens should always use alloy steel nails.
IMPORTANT: Each batten should rest on three supports (rafter
or truss)The fixing can also be done with electro-pneumatic
nailers or staplers. |

Wood treatment |

Treatment of the wood is recommended.
It should be a fungicide, insecticide and cryptogamic for
woods that are to be preserved, whatever their section.
