The National Building Specification (NBS) has been in use for 30 years and is the most widely used specification system in the UK. There are over 5,000 licence holders of the NBS software with one or more specifiers having access to each licence. The vast majority of major building projects in the UK are specified using the NBS.The NBS is a library of clauses for selecting and editing used to produce project specifications.
